Introduction

Hi, readers. This blog is my first try, so I am a little excited. I want to talk about AI and its side effects because I think Computer Engineering or Computer Science students like me, are bored of this topic. Every day we see a new AI news saying “Computer Engineering or Science is over” and a fake conversation about it.

The Era of Integration

You must have noticed that the big players in the AI race like Google, Claude, OpenAI; are integrating the AI directly into our lives. This shows us that AI considered for this role right from the start. This is not the cause, but the result of world’s evolution. Humanity naturally struggles to accept new occurences in its own life. That is understandable but the new era does not want resistance from us, it demands adaptation.

The New Option for Us

I’ve been thinking about it for a while, and maybe I found an option for us: a life-partner (Please don’t think of marrying an AI, that time hasn’t come yet!). Anyway, if we incorporate the memory of AI with human thinking, then I suppose we will not cease. Maybe, you will ask me: “If that happens, will Earth become like in Detroit:Become Human?”

Are we building tools or new lifeforms?

I understand you but I don’t think so. Humanity is unpredictable; Of course it might come true before we know it, but the probability is very low.

Examples for My Own Life

I usually use the Gemini in daily life. And these conversations are about coding or seeking an alternative opinion to my own. The two use cases are roughly equal in my chats. But as I mentioned, I have also started using Gemini to organize my calendar and manage my emails in Gmail. This integration is inevitable, so I decided to start right now.

Succinctly, this is not a competition between AI and Humanity; it is a new lifeform in a new world. And herald of the new world.
